Account Director – Pharma Advertising

A leading pharma advertising agency is looking for an Account Director to oversee a portfolio of healthcare-focused clients, set strategic direction, and drive account growth. This role is perfect for someone with HCP marketing experience, a deep understanding of the pharmaceutical industry, and a track record of building strong client relationships.

What You’ll Do:

• Lead and manage key pharma and healthcare accounts, ensuring strategic alignment and exceptional service delivery.
• Act as a trusted marketing partner, helping clients navigate the complexities of HCP engagement, regulatory requirements, and market dynamics.
• Oversee account planning, financials, and forecasting to ensure profitability and sustained growth.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including medical, media, creative, and analytics, to develop and execute high-impact campaigns.
• Identify opportunities to expand services, ensuring client needs are met with innovative solutions.
• Mentor and manage a small team, fostering professional development and strong performance.

What You’ll Bring:

• Seven or more years of experience in pharma advertising, healthcare marketing, or a related field. Agency experience preferred.
• A proven ability to lead and grow client accounts, with a focus on HCP engagement and omnichannel marketing.
• Strong business acumen and the ability to translate complex client needs into actionable marketing strategies.
• Experience working across medical, regulatory, and legal review (MLR) processes.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
