Freelance Copywriter (Pharma Advertising)

Our client is a leading New York-based advertising agency specializing in the pharmaceutical and healthcare space. Their team delivers strategic, creative, and digital solutions for top-tier clients in the industry, helping brands communicate effectively and engage their audiences.

We’re looking for a talented Freelance Copywriter to support their creative team in developing compelling, compliant, and engaging content. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and has experience writing for healthcare advertising.

Responsibilities:

• Craft clear, persuasive, and on-brand copy for websites, digital campaigns, social media, and promotional materials.
• Translate complex medical and scientific information into engaging content that resonates with healthcare professionals and consumers.
• Ensure all copy adheres to regulatory guidelines and brand messaging standards.
• Collaborate closely with designers, strategists, and account teams to align messaging with creative and business objectives.
• Edit and refine existing content to enhance clarity, engagement, and impact.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of copywriting experience within healthcare/pharma advertising.
• Strong portfolio showcasing engaging and effective healthcare-related content.
• Ability to distill technical information into clear, audience-appropriate messaging.
• Familiarity with pharmaceutical regulatory requirements and medical/legal review processes.
• Ability to work independently and manage feedback from multiple stakeholders.

Details:

• Utilization: 40 hours per week
• Rate: $55–$95 per hour (based on experience)
• Location: NYC
