This role is a unique opportunity to lead the Production and Studio teams at a globally recognised agency known for delivering bold, boundary-pushing brand experiences and live events.

If you’re a Production Director or Head of Production with deep expertise in experiential, live events and working across B2B, B2C and B2E projects, and you’re passionate about flawless execution and team leadership, this could be your next big move.

About the Role
As the Head of Production, you’ll lead the Production Operations department, working closely with senior leadership to align production strategies with agency objectives. This is a hands-on leadership role that requires exceptional organisational skills, strategic insight, and a commitment to operational excellence.

The Role:
  • Leadership:
    • Oversee and guide the Production and Studio teams, providing mentorship, feedback, and growth opportunities to foster a high-performing department.
    • Collaborate with senior leadership to define and implement the vision, strategy, and objectives for the production team.
  • Project Delivery:
    • Take responsibility for the end-to-end production of experiential campaigns and events, ensuring delivery on time, within scope, and on budget.
    • Lead production during project kick-off meetings to align account management and technical teams.
    • Collaborate with creative, strategy, and account teams to ensure cohesive and impactful project delivery.
  • Budget & Resource Management:
    • Develop and manage project budgets of up to £1M, optimising cost efficiency while maintaining exceptional quality.
    • Monitor project budgets and P&L statements to maximise profitability and identify areas for savings.
    • Allocate resources thoughtfully to meet production demands across multiple projects.
  • Supplier & Vendor Relations:
    • Source, negotiate, and manage relationships with external vendors, contractors, and suppliers.
    • Maintain a roster of preferred vendors and evaluate performance to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.
  • Innovation & Compliance:
    • Stay updated on industry trends, integrating innovative solutions into production processes.
    • Ensure all projects comply with health and safety regulations, legal requirements, and industry standards.

What We’re Looking For
  • Experience:
    • Significant experience in a Head of Production or senior production role within an experiential or events agency.
    • Proven track record of delivering large-scale, high-impact projects with budgets up to £1M, ideally having worked with clients within the Technology, Professional Services or SaaS markets.
    • Hands-on experience in international event management, with the flexibility and willingness to travel as needed.
  • Skills & Expertise:
    • Strategic and commercial mindset with the ability to lead complex projects and drive operational efficiency.
    • Confident communicator who can build strong relationships with clients, teams, and external stakeholders.
    • Strong technical understanding, with knowledge of production workflows, vendor management, and resource allocation.
    • Familiarity with tools like Google Workspace, Microsoft Teams, and Vectorworks/CAD is an advantage.
  • Personal Attributes:
    • Highly organised, detail-focused, and proactive problem-solver.
    • Adaptable and calm under pressure, thriving in fast-paced environments.
    • Passionate about the creative industry and delivering outstanding brand experiences.

Why Join?

This agency is renowned for its creativity, innovation, and people-first culture. In addition to working with world-class clients, you’ll enjoy:
  • Supportive Culture: An inclusive environment that values honesty, teamwork, and integrity.
  • Exciting Perks:
    • 28 days holiday, with additional days for tenure, your birthday, and Christmas closure.
    • Generous benefits, including a cycle-to-work scheme, complimentary breakfast, and team socials.
    • Lieu days for extended working hours, ensuring work-life balance.
    • Relaxed dress code and even the option to bring your dog to work!
