New Business/Business Development Manager - Brand Experience Agency – London/Hybrid
 
Are you a proactive and driven New Business/Business Development Manager ready to be a key driver of growth in an innovative agency?
 
DNA Recruit are working with a Leading Brand Experience Agency who are seeking an enthusiastic sales professional to lead new business development and attract prospective clients into the sales pipeline through strategic lead generation. This role is perfect for a motivated individual passionate about the Brand Experience industry and keen on building and nurturing strong client relationships.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead Generation & Outreach: Identify and attract new business opportunities through outbound initiatives. Schedule meetings with potential clients and actively seek new prospects.
  • Research & Insight: Collaborate with the Sales/Marketing team to research and develop insights that refine and prioritize target lists. Demonstrate a deep understanding of prospects, including potential challenges.
  • Pipeline Management: Maintain and manage a detailed, up-to-date client database using Salesforce, ensuring GDPR compliance.
  • Lead Generation Assets: Partner with the Sales/Marketing team to create lead generation assets and contribute to agency credentials, ensuring all work is on-brand and accurate.
  • Client Engagement: Represent the agency confidently in presentations and external communications. Reconnect with past clients to nurture and reignite relationships.
  • Sales Negotiations: Utilize proven sales negotiation skills to support deal closings and assist with RFP responses by collaborating with internal teams and external partners.
  • Performance Tracking: Regularly update and report on team performance against targets.
 
Core Competencies & Skills:
  • Industry Knowledge: A strong grasp of the Brand Experience industry, including events, design, and creative work, and familiarity with complementary sectors.
  • Relationship Building: Quick to form connections and build trust with prospective clients and internal teams.
  • Communication & Influence: Excellent persuasion skills to positively guide prospects through the sales funnel.
  • Adaptability & Lateral Thinking: Resourceful in finding new approaches when current strategies are not effective.
  • Financial Acumen: Understanding agency profitability and how this impacts targets.
  • Positive & Tenacious Attitude: Demonstrates a relentless pursuit of success with a social and open demeanor.
 
Qualifications:
  • Experience in business development or sales roles within a similar agency or creative environment.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems, especially Salesforce, and knowledge of GDPR regulations.
  • Proven ability to manage and grow a client pipeline successfully.
