JOB DESCRIPTION

Senior Account Manager – Venue Sales – London Salary: up to £55k + Benefits + 20% Bonus

Do you have previous success working in a high-profile venue sales position within events? Are you charismatic, with a “can do” attitude with the ability to strengthen existing client relationships, as well as develop new opportunities? If you’ve answered yes, then I want to hear from you!

DNA Recruit is working with an iconic London Venue who are looking for a skilled and experienced Senior Account Manager to join their Events Department to actively seek out new opportunities for International, European association and PCO clients to do business with the venue.

Main Responsibilities:
The role will cover strong account management across current and new client accounts to ensure high levels of repeat business, with a major focus on efficiently closing high-yield business deals and identifying suitable situations to up-sell products and services. To lead and complete sales related projects as and when requested by the head of the division. You will actively pursue new business opportunities by leveraging both personal initiatives and marketing activities, conducted by the team. It will be crucial to establish a strong network of contacts to facilitate new and repeat business.

The Person…
Strong business acumen, consultative sales expertise and proficient in lead qualification techniques are crucial skills needed in order to succeed in this role, as well as solid sales experience within the association market, with knowledge and experience in designing, developing and selling complex conference solutions within the events Industry.
